Luck of the Irish

Two weeks ago, I got the opportunity to go to Dublin and the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland with my friend Christine! There were many things I loved about the country — classic Irish bars and pubs on every street, the stunning countryside and of course, the fact that they speak English! It definitely made it easier to get around compared to my other trips. I just wish I had their great Irish accents now! Also, I may have looked like a leprechaun in my green pants (especially since I am only 5'2'') but hey, it's fun to be festive! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip:

The Temple Bar was my favorite pub I visited in Dublin. It had a great old-fashioned charm about it and was exactly how I pictured a traditional Irish pub would look. Plus, it was the place where I discovered my new love of cider. Hate to admit it, but I think it beats the Irish beer and whiskey!

We also got to go the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, which was the coolest brewery ever! My favorite part was the Guinness Academy (pictured above) where visitors are taught how to pour the perfect Guinness. It was harder than I thought but I got a free beer and a fancy certificate!

My jaw dropped when I saw the Cliffs of Moher — and stayed that way for the two hours that we were there.

Castle on the cliffs!

Absolutely breathtaking.

Later on our trip into the countryside, we got to see the "mini cliffs" which were right on the shore. I will never forget Ireland's beauty and I hope I make it back there someday!
