Happy Saturday! I am loving this sunny, warm weather in Barcelona and it is getting me so excited for spring shopping and outfit planning. Early spring is one of my favorite times of year because I can hide my huge, black puffer coat and boots in the back of my closet and have a little more fun with fashion again! I love to experiment with layers and juxtapose cozy winter knits with vibrant hues and Easter-like pastels. That's why I love the outfit I styled above — the blush-colored skirt (which was only $25 at Zara by the way) is the perfect way to make a grey sweater that I wore all winter feel fun and new again. For a slightly chillier day, I would add gray tights and a furry vest.
I actually bought this skirt for my recent weekend trip to Paris, but it was so cold and rainy that it was covered by my winter coat. However, despite the weather, Paris was still the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I have dreamed of going there and seeing the Eiffel Tower since I was little and the city truly lived up to all the hype. The architecture, food, shopping and museums truly were c'est magnifique. I hope I get to go back someday!
Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip:
Irresistible desserts on every corner
First sight of the Eiffel Tower!
Pretty Paris streets in the rain
Wish this was my front door!
In the Chopard window
HEAVEN ON EARTH!
At Musée D'Orsay — still can't believe I got to see the works of Van Gogh and Monet.
The obsession with blue doors continues...
First time trying snails!
Stay tuned for more posts about my outfits and recent travels!
